Author Guidelines

The Numerate Journal invites authors to submit original research papers, reviews, and case studies related to numeracy and mathematics education. To ensure a smooth submission process and maintain high publication standards, please follow the guidelines outlined below.

General Submission Requirements

  1. Originality: Manuscripts must be original works that have not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  2. Language: Submissions should be in Indonesia or English. Ensure clarity, conciseness, and proper grammar throughout the manuscript.

  3. Format: Manuscripts should be formatted as follows:

    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
    • Spacing: 1.5 spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
    • Length: Articles should typically be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
  4. Structure: The manuscript should include the following sections:

    • Title Page: Title of the paper, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information.
    • Abstract: A concise summary of the study (150-250 words).
    • Keywords: 3-6 relevant keywords.
    • Introduction: Background information, relevant literature related to the study, research problem, and objectives.
    • Methodology: Detailed description of research design, participants, instruments, and procedures.
    • Results and Discussion: Presentation of research findings, including tables and figures as necessary. Interpretation of results, implications for practice, and suggestions for future research.
    • Conclusion: Summary of key findings and contributions to the field.
    • References: List all sources cited in the manuscript using APA style.

Submission Process

  1. Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Registration may be required.

  2. Cover Letter: Include a brief cover letter stating the significance of your work and confirming that the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere.

  3. Ethical Compliance: Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research, including obtaining necessary approvals and informed consent where applicable.

Review Process

  1. Peer Review: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.

  2. Revisions: Authors should address all comments and suggestions from reviewers in a timely manner, and provide a detailed response letter with their revised manuscript.
